5. Prepare the new academic nurse educator to assume classroom teaching responsibilities.
6. Describe faculty role and responsibilities related to teaching in the clinical environment.
7. Prepare the new academic nurse educator to assume clinical teaching responsibilities.
8. Describe faculty competencies related to assessing and evaluating student learning outcomes in the classroom and clinical setting.
9. Prepare the new academic nurse educator to use assessment and evaluation strategies to determine the achievement of student learning outcomes.
