What is the benefit of this course?

This webinar will apply the Healthcare Simulation Standards of Best Practice (HSSOBP) paired with a simulation process that addresses several AACN competencies within one scenario for numerous learners.

A variety of well-developed scenarios can have opportunities for learners to demonstrate competence in domains 1-5. This webinar will provide direct applications to one publicly available scenario as an exemplar. Strategies used in this webinar will be based on active engagement, including a flipped classroom design.

At the end of the webinar, attendees will:

1) be able to apply one or more competency strategies to implore in group simulations

2) compare and contrast different approaches to competency-based learning and simulation
